Dan Grimm is an American singer, songwriter, and producer based in Ojai, California with three recorded albums and an extensive arsenal of written and recorded songs. Dan’s sound is best described as a prohibition-era cocktail with a twist of California Country, Americana, and progressive storytelling.
Dan’s music was most recently featured on Fox’s hit comedy show “New Girl” and ABC’s highly-rated “Fresh off the Boat.”
No stranger to the limelight, Dan has shared the stage with some of the industry’s leading players including Dwight Yoakum, Little Feat, Jesse Siebenberg of Supertramp, Dave Palmer, Erik Kristiansen, Nick St. Nicholas , Bob Glaub, Don Heffington, Jp Hesser, and Neal Casal.
Focusing his energy on licensing, producing, and recording, Dan looks forward to tinkering with genres and creating fresh music. Dan records at Brotheryn Studios in beautiful Ojai, California.

The video above (shot and directed by Ryan Kaercher and edited by Nick Passick) showcases a Dan Grimm original song that he wrote and co-produced. The song titled "Can't all be Lovesongs" will be included on Dan's next album which he plans to cut with the famous Brotheryn Studios in Ojai, Califonia.
